Test Planning Engineer
The Test Planning Engineer is responsible for developing the vehicle program DVP&R and working with program Vehicle Development Managers, to determine test and validation requirements, based on new product/program content. This individual will develop comprehensive vehicle build plan for all required phases based on DVP. The position would involve interface with all vehicle engineering groups, ideal candidates will be able to conduct meetings for vehicle validation plan reviews, create reports for platform teams and executives, as well as maintain primary responsibility over DVP&Rdocument. Test Planning Engineer will also be involved in doing cost estimates for program feasibility reviews & budget al candidatewill be able to understanda programneed & follow the plan thatensures optimization& maximization oflimited resources.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Sciencedegree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Equivalent bachelor'sdegree & experience will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience with DVP&R and the vehicle development and validation process preferred • Planning and leadership skills required • Strong oral and written communication skills necessary
